Who Can Go On Tour?

Open to anyone of adult age (18-65), with a disability, who because of budget constraints do not have the opportunity to travel. Medical clearance is necessary if required together with standard disclaimer regarding injury/compensation.

Are The Tours Conducted For Profit?

No. Each tour is costed and the total cost is divided between the number of people (including volunteers) to ascertain cost per individual. Total cost does not include personal spending for souvenirs etc.

How Are the Costs Held Down?

Through the generosity of volunteers and Community groups, in particular Lions Clubs and Scout Fellowship. The accommodation varies from halls, overnight cabins, schools etc. All accommodation is wheelchair friendly.

Why Long Distance?

This provides the opportunity for people with disability to experience the challenge in long distance travel. It is directed towards gaining or enhancing self confidence in being away from familiar environment and mixing with a variety of people while enjoying the trip.

How Many Trips a Year?

Currently two depending upon the number of volunteers able to spend time touring. Most tour are 10 - 28 days in duration
